1999 Isuzu Oasis Service and Repair Manual

While Honda moved the Odyssey to a larger V6 minivan for 1999, Isuzu kept selling the original four-door design, making the 1999 Oasis the last of the line. It retained the 2.3L SOHC VTEC inline-four, the four-speed automatic, and S and LS trim. Its mechanical twin is the 1998 Odyssey, not the new 1999 model, so this van needs data of its own. Known issues on the 1999 Oasis. Two recalls are on federal record. One covers ignition switch contacts that can degrade because of the high current passing through them when starting; the other covers driver airbag inflators that can absorb moisture and then rupture or underinflate.
