1998 Yamaha G16-AS "ULTIMA" (CARB) Service and Repair Manual

For the 1998 model year the carburetted ULTIMA wears the code G16AS. Yamaha's service coverage for it is LIT-19616-G1-60, the same part number a dealer would have ordered for any G16 built between 1996 and 2002.

That span is deliberate. The manual documents the G16-AP, G16-AR, G16-AT, G16-AU, G16-AW and G16-AX on the carb side, and the G16-EP, G16-ER, G16-ES, G16-ET, G16-EU, G16-EW and G16-EX on the 36-volt DC motor side, because the cars share so much structure that separate books would have repeated themselves.
