1997 Yamaha GP760 Service and Repair Manual

Two-stroke GP hulls of the late nineties share one factory book. LIT-18616-01-76 covers model years 1997 through 2000 and takes in the WaveRunner GP 1200 as well as the GP760, which for 1997 was built as GP760V.

Written for dealer service departments, it moves through the engine, carburetion, jet pump, electrical system, hull and steering hardware in the order a technician tears the craft down. Clearances, service limits and torque values are given rather than implied, and the wiring diagrams show the harness as it left the factory.

On a craft this age most work is rebuilding rather than adjusting, so the measurement tables matter more than anything else in the book. Confirm GP760V on the hull plate to be sure the specifications line up with what you have.
