1995 Yamaha IT200 Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha's coverage list puts this machine, code IT200N, in the same book as a 1985 IT200. The part number is LIT-11626-04-58, and that single volume is the factory reference for both.

Confirm IT200N on the frame plate. With the code verified, the procedures and specifications in the manual apply to the bike on your bench.

Engine work is presented in the factory sequence, with the inspection measurements that determine whether parts are serviceable and the torque values for reassembly. Carburettor and ignition settings are given as specifications. Suspension, brakes, wheels and controls are documented individually.

The electrical chapter provides the wiring diagram and the readings expected when testing components, and diagnosis is organised by symptom. That last section tends to be where a long-stored machine gets sorted out before anything comes apart at all.
