That book is not model-specific. It spans the 1995 and 1996 years and takes in the carburetted G14-AM, the 1996 G14-EP electric car and the G11-AP YAMAHAULER. Anyone maintaining a mixed fleet gets all of them in one set of procedures.
Working on the electric drive
Because the G14-EM is a battery car, the sections that matter most are the ones on the motor, the controller circuitry and the charging system. The factory gives the diagnostic order to follow, the readings to expect and the points to test, rather than leaving an owner to guess at a controller fault.
