1994 Chevrolet C1500 Suburban Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Chevrolet C1500 Suburban has to serve two very different vehicles wearing the same body. One is the gasoline Suburban with its 5.7L V8 of 350 cubic inches; the other carries the turbocharged 6.5L diesel V8 of 395 cubic inches, whose injection and boost-side service has almost nothing in common with it. Base and Silverado are the trims and the body is the four-door sport utility, so once the engine is established the chassis, brake and body procedures apply to both alike.

Known issues on the 1994 C1500 Suburban. No recall has been issued for this year and no owner complaint appears on the federal record. In place of a fault history the manual gives each engine its own treatment — injection timing and turbocharger service on the diesel, ignition and fuel system diagnostics on the gasoline V8 — and then covers what they share: transmission and rear axle overhaul, brake hydraulics with lining and drum specifications, steering and suspension alignment, and the wiring diagrams for a body this size.
