Known issues on the 1994 Roadmaster. Five recalls stand against the 1994 Roadmaster in the federal record. On certain 1994 Roadmaster passenger vehicles, loose fuel tank strap fasteners could come off and let the tank sag onto the road and leak; the fix was to retighten them, and the recall covered 130,581 vehicles. Paint on the wheel mounting faces of certain passenger cars could let lug nuts loosen until studs broke and a wheel came off, a recall covering 139 vehicles. Possible cold-weather friction in the accelerator pedal of certain passenger vehicles prompted another. Owners lodged 85 complaints, 21 of them electrical; 11 reported a crash, 6 an injury and 4 a fire.
