On certain 1993 LeMans cars, the guide track for the belt carrier was not lubricated well enough, so the carrier could bind while driving, move back and forth, or stop moving, and dealers applied lubricant to the track. The 18 owner complaints break down as seat belts 8, the electrical system 4, engine and engine cooling 4, hydraulic service brakes 4 and the power train 2.
