Certain vehicles registered in salt-belt states can suffer corrosion of the fuel filler tube, allowing a leak that could ignite; dealers inspect and replace the tube. Certain vehicles also had rear buckles built off-specification, where heat could break the plastic welds holding the release button, leaving the belt partly latched or unable to latch.
