Known issues on the 1992 K2500 Suburban. Three recalls appear on the federal record. Replacement fuel filters sold for these trucks may not seal at the joint, so fuel can leak and find an ignition source; replacement oil filters can seal just as badly and let the engine shed its oil; and unexpected heat in the automatic transmission can push fluid out of the vent tube, where it can ignite.
