1992 Geo Storm Service and Repair Manual

Mini-quad headlamps, revised taillamps and a wing-type spoiler on the GSi marked the 1992 Geo Storm restyle, and the GSi's engine grew to a 140-hp 1.8L DOHC four-cylinder. The 2+2 coupe and the hatchback kept the 1.6L SOHC four-cylinder. Since the GSi changed engines and the lighting was redesigned this year, this factory service and repair manual gives 1992-specific procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams, diagnostics and maintenance schedules for both the 1.6L and the 1.8L.

Known issues on the 1992 Storm. One recall is on federal record: a steering wheel recall (92V091001) for a center hub that can fracture in frontal collisions and reduce driver air bag protection.
