1992 Chevrolet C2500 Suburban Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1992 Chevrolet C2500 Suburban has a short list to work from: two engines, the 5.7L and 7.4L gasoline V8s, both overhead-valve and naturally aspirated, in one four-door sport utility body sold as Base or Silverado. Two engines and one shell make for specification tables that are short and unambiguous, and for wiring diagrams describing a single interior with two levels of equipment. The depth of the book goes instead into driveline, brake and body procedures.

Known issues on the 1992 C2500 Suburban. Two recalls are on the federal record, both about replacement filters that may not seal. One can let gasoline escape at a connection where an ignition source could reach it; the other can let engine oil out and start a fire on a hot surface. Fourteen owner complaints were logged, with visibility leading at five, tires at three and service brakes at two. Washer and wiper circuit testing, body glass and hardware, wheel bearing and hub work, and brake hydraulic overhaul are each specified here.
