1991 Yamaha SRV Service and Repair Manual

The last SRV year is 1991, coded SR540R, and it is documented in the same manual as the first: Yamaha LIT-12618-SR-07.

Eight model years in one volume is unusual, and here it is simply a reflection of how little the sled changed. Where something did change, the specification table lists the codes it applies to, so the 1991 figures are distinguishable from the 1984 ones a few columns over.

What the manual gives you is the dealer procedure set: engine disassembly and reassembly with torque values, inspection limits, carburetor and ignition service, clutch and chaincase work, track and suspension adjustment, steering, and an electrical chapter with wiring diagrams. Troubleshooting is arranged by symptom, which is how you will usually come at a sled of this age.

Check that your machine reads SR540R before you rely on any number in it.
