Known issues on the 1991 Fox. The 1991 Fox has 3 recalls on the federal record, with fuel leaks at the center of 2 of them. Certain 1991 Fox vehicles were recalled after metal fuel lines bent to the wrong shape were fitted under the hood, where they could rub the intake manifold until they leaked and a fire could follow, a campaign that covered 2000 vehicles. Certain vehicles were also recalled because the fuel rail hose could shrink away from its clamps. A third recall for certain 1991 Fox vehicles addressed a heat exchanger that could leak scalding coolant into the cabin when the engine overheated.
