1990 Suzuki Sidekick Service and Repair Manual

Two-wheel drive joined the lineup for 1990, the Sidekick's second US model year, with a new rear-drive JS convertible alongside the four-wheel-drive JX and JLX. All are two-door models with the 1.6L SOHC 8-valve four rated at 80 horsepower, and the JX and JLX could be had as a soft-top convertible or hardtop. Known issues on the 1990 Sidekick. One recall is on federal record: the red plastic front seat-belt buckle release buttons can break and let pieces jam the buckle.
