Known issues on the 1990 V2500 Suburban. NHTSA lists two owner complaints for this model year, one on the steering and one grouped under latches, locks and linkages. Both are the sort of thing that gets worse slowly on a working truck: steering play that creeps in as joints wear, and door and tailgate hardware that stops latching cleanly.
