1989 Yamaha VENTURE ROYALE Service and Repair Manual

For 1989 the Venture Royale carried model code XVZ1300DWC. Its factory service manual is LIT-11616-XV-14, which Yamaha kept current from 1986 through 1993 and wrote to cover the Venture as well.

Late-eighties Ventures are still ridden hard, and the jobs that come up, carburetor rebuilds, fork seals, air suspension leaks, charging faults, brake overhauls, are all covered with the factory's own values. So is the full engine, from removal through valve train, clutch, transmission and crankcase, with every clearance and service limit stated.

The long year range also means the manual flags what changed and when, so you are not applying a later revision's figures to your bike.
