1988 Yamaha VIRAGO 750 Service and Repair Manual
From 1988 the 750 moved onto the combined Virago manual, Yamaha part number LIT-11616-XV-11. That year's bike is the XV750U.
The volume covers the 700, 1000, 1100 and 1100 Special as well, across model years 1984 to 1999. One book, five model names, sixteen seasons, which is practical given how much these machines share. The specification tables keep the variants straight and the model code tells you which column to read.
Procedures are factory issue throughout: engine and clutch overhaul with clearances, carburetor service, shaft drive work, fork and brake rebuilds, and an electrical chapter built around the complete wiring diagram with test values. Torque figures sit alongside the steps that need them. It is the reference a dealer technician used, in the form they used it.
