1988 Yamaha G2 (36V - DC MOTOR) Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha carried the G2- EB code into 1988 as well, and this electric G2 with its 36-volt DC motor is documented in LIT-19616-G9-93.

The manual is a broad one. It runs from 1985 to 1995 and names thirty-one other machines beside this car, taking in the carburetted G2 range, the rest of the G2-E electric series, the G9 FLEET MASTER and FLEET CLASSIC cars in carburetted and 36-volt form, and the ADVENTURER FAIRWAY LOUNGE beverage car. One reference for a whole decade of Yamaha golf cars.

The procedures are the ones the factory issued to its dealers: an order of work for each job, inspection figures with the limits they are judged against, torque specifications, wiring diagrams drawn as built, and fault-finding that starts from the symptom.
