1987 Yamaha VENTURE Service and Repair Manual
From 1986 Yamaha moved the Venture to a new manual, LIT-11616-XV-14, and kept it in service all the way to 1993. The 1987 bike is model code XVZ1300T.
Eight model years and both the Venture and the Venture Royale live inside that one volume. For anyone restoring one of these, the long span is useful: changes made across the run are flagged in the text, so you can see what your year has and what it does not.
The manual covers periodic maintenance, carburetor and fuel delivery, the complete engine in and out of the frame with every clearance and torque figure, shaft drive service, front and rear suspension including the air system, brakes, and the electrical side with full diagrams and diagnostic procedures.
