1986 Yamaha BRAVO Service and Repair Manual

Anyone keeping a 1986 Bravo alive is working on a machine Yamaha documented once and never substantially revised. The manual is LIT-12618-BR-01, valid from 1984 to 2000 and again from 2007 to 2011, and this sled is model code BR250K. The Bravo T and the long-track Bravo LT are in the same pages.

Practically that means the procedures you need have not been superseded. Engine clearances, fuel system settings, track tension and alignment, suspension adjustment, brake service and electrical diagnosis are all stated as factory figures, and the wiring diagrams cover the machine as built.

Check BR250K against the plate before you start. With a coverage span this long, the code and the year together are what tie a table entry to the sled in front of you.
