Known issues on the 1986 6000. Of the 3 recalls NHTSA lists for the 1986 6000, one concerned certain 1986 6000 cars with anti-lock brakes: a seeping pressure switch or water in the relays could take out the hydraulic pump motor, cutting rear braking and front power assist, or disable the anti-lock function. Relays and fuses were replaced and the pump and switch inspected. Certain cars also had a push-pull headlight switch with contacts that could make the headlamps flicker or go dark.
