1985 Yamaha VMAX Service and Repair Manual

The 1985 VMAX is coded VMX1200N, and Yamaha documented it in the manual numbered LIT-11616-VM-13.

That one volume was kept current for a remarkably long run, listed against 1985 and 1986 and then every year from 1988 through 2000. Yamaha revised rather than replaced it as the model continued, so the earliest bikes and the latest share a reference, with the text distinguishing them by code where a procedure or a setting changed.
