1985 Yamaha BRAVO Service and Repair Manual

Model code BR250J identifies the 1985 Bravo. Its service manual, Yamaha LIT-12618-BR-01, is the single volume the factory used for the entire Bravo run, from 1984 through 2000 and again from 2007 to 2011, including the Bravo T and the long-track Bravo LT.

Why one book covers so much

The Bravo's design stayed essentially fixed, so the service procedures never needed rewriting. Where a detail did change, the manual notes the years it applies to.

The content is ordinary factory work, presented as such: periodic maintenance, engine disassembly and measurement, fuel system service, power train and track procedures, suspension and chassis adjustment, brakes, steering and electrical diagnosis, with wiring diagrams and the torque and clearance figures each step requires.
