Known issues on the 1985 Quantum. A single recall appears on the federal record for the 1985 Quantum. It recalled certain 1985 Quantum vehicles with the inline-five engine and an automatic transmission, because the idle stabilizer could wear to the point that idle speed fluctuated and the car drove poorly; dealers fitted a new stabilizer.
