Known issues on the 1985 Skyhawk. The federal record holds 1 recall for the 1985 Skyhawk. On certain 1985 Skyhawk cars built with the particular engine option the recall names, a plastic trim cover on the air cleaner could drop off onto the hot exhaust manifold and start an engine-compartment fire while driving; the fix was to remove the cover.
