1984 Yamaha VENTURE Service and Repair Manual

Service manual LIT-11616-XV-13 is the factory book for the first Venture, and the 1984 machine inside it carries model code XVZ1200LC. Yamaha's coverage runs from 1983 to 1985 and takes in the Venture Royale as well as the standard Venture.

That combination matters on these bikes because the Royale equipment, the air suspension and the audio and control systems, is documented in the same volume. If your Venture has had Royale parts fitted over the years, the procedures are still in front of you.
