Known issues on the 1984 Rampage. The federal record holds one recall for the 1984 Rampage. It covered certain 1984 Rampage vehicles with the four-cylinder engine, where fuel could leak under the hood from the seam of the fuel reservoir, a silver can on the air cleaner, or from its hose connections. Dealers replaced the hoses and metal tube and replaced or resealed the reservoir. The one owner complaint also involves the gasoline fuel system, and that complaint reported a fire. The manual's fuel system procedures, specifications, torque values and diagnostics bear directly on that area.
