1982 Yamaha VIRAGO 920 Service and Repair Manual

The 1982 Virago 920 has its own factory manual rather than sharing the later family volume. The number is LIT-11616-XV-91, and the model code is XV920J.

Yamaha listed this book for the 1982 and 1983 machines only. Coverage that narrow is the right thing on a short-lived model, because every figure in it belongs to the equipment actually fitted and nothing has been generalised to accommodate a later revision.

Expect standard shop organisation: specifications and torque tables, periodic maintenance, engine and gearbox overhaul in assembly order, carburetion and ignition service, shaft drive, chassis, brakes and wheels, and electrical diagnosis with the complete wiring diagram.
