THE REAR AXLE SHAFTS RECEIVED IMPROPER HEAT TREATMENT DURING MANUFACTURE. THE SHAFT MAY BREAK AND THE TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY COULD DISENGAGE FROM THE VEHICLE.
Remedy
DEALER WILL REPLACE BOTH REAR AXLE SHAFT ASSEMBLIES, IF NECESSARY, FREE OF CHARGE.
IN A VEHICLE IMPACT FROM THE REAR, THE THREE PIECE HOSES COULD SEPARATE AND RESULT IN FUEL LEAKAGE IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT PERMITTED BY FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 30
Remedy
A NEW FUEL FILLER HOSE WILL BE INSTALLED BY DEALER ON ALL INVOLVED VEHICLES.
