1980 Yamaha EXCITER Service and Repair Manual

The frame code on the 1980 Exciter reads SR250G, and the factory service manual for it is LIT-11616-01-93. That volume is written for the 1980 model year only, so everything in it applies directly to your machine.

Worth knowing about the code: the Exciter and the SR250 designation are the same bike to Yamaha's service department, and the plate on the frame is what the manual indexes against.
