Yamaha's 1979 service manual for the YZ125 is part number LIT-11626-01-62, and the bike it was written for carries model code YZ125F. The same volume also documents that year's YZ100, which is why one book will do if both machines are in the shop.

The factory produced these manuals for dealer technicians during the season, so the emphasis falls where a race mechanic needs it. Top end measurement and service limits, clutch and transmission inspection, torque figures for the cases and head, ignition timing, carburettor jetting references, suspension settings and the wiring as drawn.

One caution on ordering. The 1980 YZ125 uses a different part number, and successive years diverge quickly from here, so the model code on your frame label is what to trust rather than the model name. YZ125F means this book.
