1978 Yamaha CHAPPY Service and Repair Manual

For a 1978 Chappy the factory reference is LIT-11616-07-14, the same manual Yamaha wrote for the 1977 model year. This machine's code is LB80IIAC.

Because the book spans two years, the sections are written with both in mind and note any difference where one exists. The scope is ordinary shop work: maintenance and adjustment, engine overhaul with clearance and wear figures, fuel system and ignition settings, brake and chassis procedures, torque tables, wiring diagrams and fault-finding.

Match the LB80IIAC code against your machine first. It is a short check and it is the only reliable way to know these procedures belong to the Chappy in your garage.
