1977 Yamaha XS750 Service and Repair Manual
Yamaha's triple got its own service volume, LIT-11616-XS-70, written to cover model years 1977, 1978 and 1979. The 1977 machine is coded XS750D.
A three-cylinder shaft-drive bike asks more of its documentation than a twin does, and this book is where the factory procedures live: crankshaft and cylinder work in disassembly sequence, clutch and gearbox, and the final drive treated as its own assembly with its own specifications.
Around that are the chapters used more often. Periodic adjustment sets the service intervals and values. The carburetor chapter covers synchronising three throttle bodies and the settings that go with them. Chassis coverage takes in forks, rear suspension, wheels and brakes. The electrical chapter gives component test readings and a wiring diagram drawn to the harness.
