1977 Yamaha TT500 Service and Repair Manual

Code TT500D identifies the 1977 TT500, and LIT-11616-01-50 is the factory service manual that answers for it. Yamaha built one reference for the TT500, SR500 and XT500 spanning 1976 to 1981, so all three machines and all six years are addressed together.

Anyone with a shed containing more than one of these will see the logic. The engines are close relatives; documenting them separately would have meant repeating most of the text.

Content is factory-original throughout. Inspection limits and wear tolerances, torque values quoted with the fastener, disassembly in the prescribed order, fuel and ignition settings, and the original wiring diagrams.

Verify the part number and the TT500D code against your own machine first. On bikes this old, frame codes are more reliable than titles.
