1975 Yamaha YZ250 Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha's earliest YZ250 manual in this line is part number LIT-11624-83-00, covering the 1975 machine, model code YZ250B. The same book also documents the YZ360 of that year, the two having been built closely enough to share a volume.

Restoring a bike of this age means working to original figures, and there is nowhere else to find them. The manual sets out the wear limits to measure against, the torque values for the cases and head, ignition timing, carburettor specifications, suspension settings and the wiring as drawn at the factory. Where the YZ250 and YZ360 differ, the text says which figure belongs to which.
