The book was produced as a two-year, two-model reference: the RD250 and RD350 of 1974 and 1975 share it. In practice the RD250B and RD350B are close enough mechanically that Yamaha wrote the procedures once and split only the figures, so you will be reading across the tables rather than skipping chapters.

Coverage is the full dealer set. Maintenance intervals and adjustments, engine removal, top end and lower end with torque specifications, Autolube pump work, carburettor jetting and synchronisation, ignition timing, clutch, transmission, then frame, forks, swingarm, wheels and brakes with their service limits. Wiring diagrams and electrical troubleshooting are included.

A restorer should treat the specification tables as the useful part; the teardown pages simply keep you in the right order.
