1974 Yamaha RD250 Service and Repair Manual

For the 1974 bike the code is RD250A, and the manual that covers it carries Yamaha part number LIT-11613-61-02.

Yamaha reorganised the coverage for these years. Rather than the four-model book used earlier, LIT-11613-61-02 handles the RD250 and RD350 over 1974 and 1975 only, which makes the specification tables shorter and easier to read down. You still need to find the RD250A line; the RD350 figures sit beside it.

Procedures run from periodic service and adjustment through full engine teardown, with torque values and wear limits stated where the work is described. Fuel system, Autolube, ignition, clutch and gearbox each get their own treatment. The chassis half deals with front forks, swingarm, wheels, brakes and controls, and there are wiring diagrams with a troubleshooting sequence for the electrics.
