1973 Yamaha RD350 Service and Repair Manual
This is the wide-coverage book of the period. Under part number LIT-11613-60-20, Yamaha wrote one volume for the RD350 and RD250 plus the earlier R5 and DS7, taking in both 1972 and 1973.
The code on the 1973 machine is simply RD350. Use it to pick your way through the specification tables, because a figure that looks right may belong to the R5 or the 250.
The engine chapters take you from removal through the top end, the crankshaft and bearings, the clutch and the five-speed gearbox, with torque values given in sequence. Autolube pump inspection, carburettor settings and ignition timing follow. The chassis side covers forks, swingarm, wheel bearings, brakes and cable adjustment against factory wear limits, and the electrical section includes wiring diagrams and a fault-finding order.
