1973 Yamaha DT3 Service and Repair Manual

The 1973 DT3 shares its factory manual with five other designations. LIT-11613-08-01 covers DT1, DT2, DT3, RT1, RT2 and RT3 for the 1971 to 1973 seasons, and the frame code you want to see is DT3.

Working from it is straightforward. Engine sections are ordered the way the job is done, with inspection measurements at the points where a decision has to be made about reuse. Torque values appear where a fastener carries load. Ignition and carburettor settings are factory figures.

Chassis chapters run through forks, rear suspension, brakes, wheels and steering. The electrical chapter provides the wiring diagram and the resistance and continuity checks that let you test rather than guess.
