1971 Yamaha LT2 Service and Repair Manual

This is one of Yamaha's broadest service volumes. LIT-11613-14-01 spans the 1971, 1972 and 1973 model years and covers the AT1, AT2, AT3, CT1, CT1C, CT2, CT3 and LT3 as well as the LT2, whose frame code is LT2.

The breadth is deliberate. Those machines were built around shared engineering, so the factory wrote the procedures once and listed the specifications model by model where they diverge. Confirm LT2 on the frame plate and take your figures from the matching column.

Engine sections give teardown, inspection with wear limits, and reassembly to specified torque. Carburation and ignition settings are published. Suspension, brakes, wheels and controls are documented, and the electrical chapter carries wiring diagrams with component test values.

Troubleshooting is grouped by symptom, and for anyone with more than one of these small two-strokes the cross-model coverage is a real practical advantage.
