1971 Yamaha CT2 Service and Repair Manual

Service literature for the 1971 CT2 is Yamaha LIT-11613-14-01. The machine's code is CT2, and that code is what you check against the fitment list.

The manual covers 1971 through 1973 and names the AT1, AT2, AT3, CT1, CT1C, CT3, LT2 and LT3 alongside the CT2. Yamaha's small two-strokes of this period were closely related, so a single volume with variant notes served the dealer network better than separate books would have.

Content is practical. The engine and gearbox chapters give disassembly order, inspection limits and assembly clearances; the fuel and electrical chapters give carburettor settings, ignition data and wiring diagrams; torque values are tabulated; and the troubleshooting sections start from what the bike is actually doing wrong.
