1971 Yamaha AT3 Service and Repair Manual

Yamaha part number LIT-11613-14-01 covers the 1971 AT3, model code AT3, and it was never a single-model book.

The same volume documents the AT1 and AT2, the CT1, CT1C, CT2 and CT3, and the LT2 and LT3, over the 1971 through 1973 model years. Those machines were built around a common layout, so Yamaha wrote the engine, chassis and electrical chapters once and flagged the places where a model goes its own way.

The material is what a dealer shop used: teardown and rebuild order, inspection limits and clearances, torque figures, carburettor and ignition specifications, wiring diagrams and troubleshooting steps organised by the complaint. On a machine of this age, the measured limits are what tell you whether a part can go back in, and this is where those limits come from. Read the AT3 callouts rather than the general text where the two differ.
